Call of Duty: Ghosts cut-scene accused of copy-pasting from MW2

Call of Duty: Ghosts contains a cut-scene that closely apes the ending of Modern Warfare 2. While many gamers have accused Infinity Ward of lazy copy-pasting, a more-likely explanation is that the scene is a tribute to its predecessor. Judge for yourself here, but BEWARE SPOILERS.

The clip was posted by YouTuber Satantribal and shows the player-character being hoisted to an escape vehicle bu his comrades. The same thing happened to an injured Soap at the end of Modern Warfare 2, except he was ferried by Nikoli and Price.

A reference? Why would they reference MW2 by using an identical cut scene? The "tribute" idea is IW covering up something they thought no one would notice.

This. To be honest, I didn't even know Ghosts released until an hour ago. First CoD I'm not excited for.
I do agree and understand but where do you live? Here in the UK everyone knows, my grandparents knew and asked me about it...
