Microsoft Xbox One SDK bugs not as “dire or dramatic” as rumoured

Microsoft’s Albert Penello has spoken out to calm yesterday’s rumours that the Xbox One’s SDK is in a sorry state indeed.

“There is a really bizarre phenomenon going on right now where the frenzy for news, drama, and behind-the-scenes dealings is clouding logic and reason,” Penello said on Reddit.

“There is nothing going on behind the scenes nearly as interesting as everyone would like to believe. We are a month away from launch, and people are working hard to finalize the last of the bugs. There are still a lot things left to be done. We’re crunching and I’m sure Sony’s crunching too.

“I know people are excited. I’m sorry but things are nowhere near as dire or dramatic or exciting as everyone would like to believe. That’s why I’m not commenting on every single random rumor that comes along, because everything I see is so drastically overblown vs. reality.”

The Xbox One launches on November 22.

Eta I'm not going to get it straight away until they iron out the bugs.

They've been finding bugs for months now, maybe years. If anything, there's going to be bugs with the software, which a simple update can fix.

How in the world can you trust Microsoft? Have you short term memory loss? Xenon, zephyr, opus, falcon. The first four years of revisions all had the same problem, rrod. Even after that they still haven't purchased a quality drive to put in the 360.

Its just another PS4 fanboy vintage, both consoles are going to be great the upmost scale. I like Xbox better for a very valid and simple reason: Halo

So what you're saying is that someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on something faulty or likely to develop a fault ( in this case an XBOX ONE ) is a PS4 fanboy? How do you work that out exactly?
Seems to be a big enough issue for Microsoft to have to comment about it.Maybe the guy who filmed it sabotaged it as he must "obviously" be a PS4 fanboy too,i bet he went there specifically at that exact time to film it on purpose...

No no! You keep the squeakers. I noticed that the PS community has less little kids than the Xbox community. The one thing I hate about my xbox 360 was there are a lot of squeakers online.

Xbox live has a thing called a mute button and i am pretty sure PSN does as well.
