Battlefield 4 TV ad shows off vehicular combat

With a new TV ad, EA and DICE appear keen to demonstrate what separates Battlefield from Activision's Call of Duty as the two FPS franchises prepare to lock horns this Christmas.

EA has shared a full-length version of the TV at that's airing in the run up to BF4's release later this month, showing off the game's iconic vehicular combat and environmental destruction.

EA has confirmed a Battlefield 4 release date of October 29 in the US and November 1 in the UK on current gen consoles and PC. Xbox One and PS4 versions will be console launch titles later in November.

The final game will ship with seven multiplayer modes playable on ten maps.

Wasn't a fan of the beta feel itself, I'll pass on this one

I didn't enjoy how the beta felt myself, however I believe that's due to it not having the entire package available to download. The BF3 beta felt terrible in regards to how it was played, but when it came out it felt 'normal'.

I also remember the 3 beta and the overall feel still transferred to the game imo. I used to be a huge BF fan since 1942 and all the way up to 2142 and all the ones since then have just not had that same feel and this seems to follow in the footsteps of all the console versions...

Battlefield 1942 was an absolute epic game!

what a mix of emotions! im happy now i can afford CoD AND BF4! but thats only because watchdogs got delayed...:'(
