GTA Online: Rockstar posts list of known bugs, is working on them now

Rockstar Games has told fans it is "working around the clock" to address issues affecting GTA Online, the multiplayer component of its acclaimed blockbuster GTA V.

Ahead of the GTA Online launch on Tuesday, Rockstar asked customers for patience and predicted the service would have natural teething problems. Analysts estimate the game has already been bought by 15 million people globally, and the online portion of the title launched simultaneously worldwide, leading to huge demand being placed on the game's servers.

"We are continuing to look into these issues and are working around the clock on resolving them as quickly as possible," Rockstar said in a message posted on the game's official news wire.

"This includes close monitoring of our support systems, forums, social media, and in-game data to measure traffic along with community sentiment to ensure ongoing improvements to stability."

Rockstar has listed nine known issues with GTA Online, but it has yet to acknowledge claims from some users that their single player save file has been deleted since going online.

The acknowledged list of online problems include:

Occasional "Rockstar Cloud Servers Unavailable" error message
Freezing sometimes while loading into first race in GTAO with "waiting for other players" on the screen
Intermittent "Failed to Host a GTA Online Session" error messages
Race Corona (start area, marker) occasionally not showing up for first race
Errors saying "Timed out when matchmaking for a compatible GTA Online Session to join"
Occasional errors about jobs failing to start or load
General issues with the Social Club site and Social Club features
Misc. network and server-related error messages, disconnections, or cloud server errors
Errors saying "Mission Failed" as soon as the mission begins during a session

Well this was inevitable, since there are millions of people logging in at once, that's why the servers are messed up. Plus rockstar wasn't prepared for this at all.

If you get kicked for inactivity then you get pushed back really far.

What about me paying 205,000 for a apartment and now I don't own it apparently, but it has still taken my money. Also spending and extra 50,000 in both bikes and vehicle upgrades which are now gone.

I so peed off. I have contacted rockstars support page asking for all of it back.

You are completely wrong.
1. The game is not overpriced for how much you get out of it and it's actually underpriced if you ask actual gamers.
2. The game is not "faulty" in any way, it just has some bugs, WHICH ALL GAMES HAVE.
3. Stop complaining, it's the best game of 2013, and possibly so far ever made.

Overpriced you say??? GTFO, I wanna see you modeling at least one building from the game, then you will realize what a masterpiece this game is.

Potion Good to see Rockstar is fixing them instead of ignoring them until way later, i can see they really want this game to be awesome.
You act like they have a choice to fix them. People can't even get on the MP.

Ok really! Cry.. there was like 2 million people trying to get on in the same day.. maybe if you would have got up early and made a save real fast you would be playing. They are trying cut them some slack!


I was on the second the update came out and made a save and still got stuck on the tutorial so no that's not it


This this guy really say they are taking their time? The Online portion has barely been out for a day and you think they're are taking their sweet time? what part of "we're working around the clock" do you not understand? Just give them a little bit of time, they'll get it working.
