Below you'll find a new Killer Instinct gameplay video showing off the fighting capabilities of Sadira, a fresh addition to the series.

Revealed earlier this week, the female fighter wields claws on her hands which can be used as melee weapons and projectiles.

Microsoft has confirmed Killer Instinct will be free to download and will include Jago as a playable character.

Additional characters Sabrewulf, Glacius, B. Orchid, Chief Thunder and Sadira will be available at launch, with another two to follow shortly after launch. Each character will be available for purchase starting at $4.99 / £3.99 / €4.99.

Alternatively, Xbox One owners will be able to purchase the entire character roster for $19.99 / £16.99 / €19.99.

Microsoft is planning to launch another set of eight characters in 2014 under the same payment structure.
