Battlefield 4 weapon customisation and adaptive camo discussed by DICE

Battlefield 4 developer DICE has shed new light on the extend of the shooter’s gun customisation, as well as adaptive camo that reacts to whatever environment you’re playing in. Sounds a bit ‘MGS 4′ doesn’t it?

The clip below sees lead core game designer Alan Kert discussing gun customisation with presenter of EA’s FTW show Matt Cuttle.

Kert shows off the game’s load-out menus as he tinkers about with a range of stocks, camo designs and more. It seems the series has expanded considerably in how players can personalise their gun of choice.

Battlefield 4 comes to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 29 in North America, then November 1 in Europe. It’s out November 15 on the PlayStation 4 and November 22 on the Xbox One in the States.

Texans This is really impressive, I can't wait for this game to be released.

I cannot wait for the FULL game to be released.
So far the beta has been a bit of a let down in my eyes.

Dr-J Does anyone think there will be "special" camos such as silver,gold,Ect?

I think there will be in my opinion, But I hope they don't turn into COD with their Micro Transactions I liked the camos don't get me wrong but the cost is unbelievable in the UK anyways.

Well if they did I wouldn't mind if it was awesome stuff, but I would like to see gold!

CoD: Ghosts mentioned something about being able to customize your character again, like how BO1 had, but they're going to add way more than what BO1 had, like skin color, male and female, and other stuff as well. I don't know if they're going to have this type of customization like BF4 has with different grips and sights(like different RDS) but I'm sure they'll keep the camo customization. I'm also sure CoD: Ghosts doesn't have vehicle customization as they have killstreaks instead of vehicles you can just jump into.

Ghosts has customization but as you can tell BF4 is better once again lol.
