Assassin's Creed 4 trailer showcases next-gen improvements

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.

The latest trailer shows off some of the technological advancements made in the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC versions of Black Flag, including an impressive sea engine, a fully dynamic weather engine, global illumination lighting technology, the dynamic boarding navmesh and dynamic 3D foliage.

Black Flag is scheduled for release on October 29 in North America and on November 1 across Europe on PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The PS4 and Xbox One editions were recently confirmed as day-one titles for those consoles, with Xbox One confirmed for November and PS4 for 'holiday 2013'.

i wasnt going to buy ac4 but now i think i will

I wasn't really thinking of buying it before hand either, due to me not really enjoying assassins creed 3 as much as i thought i would. I'm starting to think that purchasing it wouldn't be a bad idea though

Assassins Cred 1+2 where both better than AC3 in my opinion as the actual gameplay was I think. Don't know why but I hope Assassins Creed 4 is a big improvement over AC3. :)

I just think the gameplay might be getting a bit repetitive

Hopefully they can mix the gameplay up a little to make it interesting, i never really got bored of the gameplay in previous assassins creed games though

Looking amazing. I just hope the ship control and battles better and are more entertaining than the ones in Assassin's Creed 3.

Kinda wished they had saved Far Cry 3 a year so it could've been developed for next gen rather than current.

Assassins creed 4 is another game I will be looking forward too the next-gen improvements do also look good, One of the games I will be buying on the next gen.
