Free Forza 5 added to Xbox One pre-order deal

4.4
Microsoft has added Forza Motorsport 5 to its Xbox One 'Day One Edition' pre-order promotion in Europe.

UK retailers GAME, Amazon.co.uk and ShopTo are offering the deal, which rewards Xbox One pre-orders with either a free digital copy of Forza 5 or the previously announced FIFA 14.

In August Microsoft announced that free digital copies of FIFA 14 would be included in "the first" of the Day One bundles, suggesting that another title would later be offered. That title now appears to be Turn 10's racer.

Microsoft confirmed today that a new "limited" supply of 'Day One Edition' consoles has been made available for pre-order.

However, at least one UK retailer - Amazon - reports that it's sold out of FIFA 14 versions of the Day One bundle.

The Xbox One release date has been confirmed as November 22 in 13 markets, including North America, UK and Australia.

The Xbox One price has been set at £430 / €500 / $500.

Microsoft has confirmed an Xbox One launch games line-up of more than 20 titles, including Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza Motorsport 5 and Killer Instinct.

Zapp How come us guys in the US don't get anything?

I'm guessing it's because UK people are paying an extra $150.

How come us Australians get nothing? is it because were paying $599?

It's different for different regions of the world I am sure Microsoft will accomodate for every country/region in some way or another but Australians get charged waaaay to much for video games I think it is stupid.

Although I prefer FIFA as a game, I cancelled my preorder and got this instead because I wanted a real next-gen game if you know what I mean, not FIFA.

Dr-Ponyfile Personally I would choose Forza over FIFA but non the less they are both great games.

I'd rather get FIFA for free, I spend more time playing FIFA than Forza, simply because FIFA never gets boring.

Its all comes down to preference at the end of the day. I am glad Microsoft are giving away a game to give you more for your money.
