Yea but it's mainly if you want to play at a friends house and they have a different generation console.

I think Battlefield are working on doing the same, lets hope they do.

CyberPunk That has been worded in a rather awkward way to make it seem like we can play on xbox360/ps3 and then when we upgrade to xbox1/ps4 we can transfer our stats etc over to them and pick up where we left off, but at the same time it also says we cannot do that?

Also to answer your question I imagine that they would do Xbox 360 - Xbox One and PS3-PS4 Basically the transition between current-gen and next-gen but not be able to transfare PS3-Xbox 360 etc

I'm happy that they are doing this. That will save a lot of playing hours and I bet it must of been hard to get them to link together but they are focusing more on the Elite side of it I never really used Elite in the first place but now after watching the Live stream it makes me want to start using the service more frequently.
