Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Video - "Origins"

Treyarch has released a new teaser trailer for what appears to be a new download expansion for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

It's unclear exactly what the content entails - such is the nature of a teaser - but the video features four men and a giant mech robot. It has a solitary tagline: "Every story has a beginning...and an end."

The four men appear to be younger versions of Black Ops Zombies characters Nikolai, Dempsey, Takeo and Richtofen. That, along with the tagline and black-and-white gameplay footage would suggest a Zombies-related DLC pack set in the past.

Black Ops 2 players have so far received three major content drops; Revolution debuted on Xbox 360 in January, Uprising in April and Vengeance in July (PS3 and PC versions follow a month after Xbox DLC drops).

Origins would be the fourth and presumably last DLC expansion for Black Ops 2 before the game hands the baton over to this year's cross-gen update, Call of Duty: Ghosts, in November.

Treyarch is yet to make an official announcement.

ChicagoMadePunk I'm thinking this is going to have all the old zombie maps form bo1 and waw and a new one.


I hope not they did that with BO1 with the world at war maps i don't want the world at war maps again.


Why not? Those are the best maps.


They sold them to me on WAW they sold them to me on BO1 i'm not buying the same thing for a 3rd time.

I hope they bring back the previous maps but add a new one too, then the season pass will be worth it! If it wasn't for Zombies then I never would have gotten the game!

If this is true it would be just like Mob of the Dead, separate from the base story line but a great map to play on. I hope that this upcoming DLC will answer all the questions we have about the Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2 story line. I've been waiting for a WWI era DLC, so this might be what I'm looking for.


Yea, I knew they would release a new zombies dlc like the Resurrection dlc from BO1. Zombies are the only thing keeping me from trashing this game.

Lets be honest, the Black Ops 2 story line had a basic structure but little to no supporting details. It is a very boring story line. The maps are great and fun to play on but a great story line to support it makes it feel like you are the character.
