Crackdown, Dead Rising 2 are the August 'Games with Gold' specials

Xbox Live Gold members can leap their way across Crackdown or chop their way through Dead Rising 2 for free in August. As part of Microsoft's "Games with Gold" program, starting tomorrow, August 1, Crackdown will be free to agents through August 15. The only cost is how much of your life will be consumed by hunting orbs.

Starting August 16, both Dead Rising 2 and its prologue, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, will be gratis through the end of the month.

Xbox Live Gold members still have until the end of that day to grab and take a stab at Assassin's Creed 2.

PSN+ Free games are only available as long as you're subscribed to PSN+.

go to the game marketplace and you can just search them in On Demand or go to featured where there will be a tab called Games with Gold and that will have it

-Trellex- Halo 3 is owned by microsoft and one of there best sellers, i dont think they would give it away.Crackdown is a pretty good game .Dead Rising is ok.I think this is Awesome :).


so what if ms owns it, they flat out said halo3 and a.creed would be free.

Im glad theyre offering free games but they arent the same quality as PS Plus. That being said though Ill probably play both... not going to complain about free games but Ill complain about the BS advertising

I don't think that's what people have been saying, people have been complaining about previous games because the last line up was appalling.
