Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer reveal date

Activision has just announced that the Call of Duty Ghosts “Global Multiplayer” reveal will take place on August 14th in Los Angeles! The “invite only” event is scheduled to take place at 10:30am PDT. They have also announced that Xbox will be sponsoring the event, much like they did for CoD XP and CoD Championships so expect tons of live streams and media coverage. The event will be held at the LA Live in downtown Los Angeles, which is the same location that Microsoft hosted their Forza 4 E3 event in 2011.
The event will be live streamed on CallofDuty.com and on Xbox LIVE through the event player.

I am surprisingly excited for this reveal, hopefully Call of Duty Ghosts can innovate a little and bring a margin of fun back to the game

Snag I just don't understand why so many people are already hating on this. They haven't even shown what the multiplayer is like and yet people are already complaining about it. Yes CoD has been known release games every year that seem to be very similar with some changes. On the other side CoD is the basis of all FPS. The whole multiplayer system of CoD 4 completely changed gaming. No other game had any multiplayer like this. So you can't hate on them for not making any huge changes. Sometimes people just like to complain just to be annoying. If you don't enjoy then don't play it and stop complaining


No it did not set the standards for modern fps games. Counter strike, Halo and Battlefield were already doing good before CoD4. Also look at the ultra realistic games like Arma or Red Orchestra. They don't resemble Cod at all.

Dedicated servers? What do you mean?


Do you not know what dedicated servers are? Battlefield has them and that is just one of the many advantages they have over CoD. Instead they say it would be to expensive. I find that hard to believe since they are the wealthiest gaming company and much smaller companies have them.

They still seam incredibly below par for the standard of today's games. Picked up AC2 for free on xbox and it looked equivalent or better than the BO2 current graphics. CoD: Ghosts graphics still look dull compared to that of Halo, BF, Crysis, or Far Cry.
