Call of Duty: Ghosts won’t have branching missions

4.3
Call of Duty: Ghosts won’t be taking the less-linear route of Black Ops 2′s branching missions and choices, as developer Infinity Ward has plumped for the standard corridor format once more.

Speaking with OPM, Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin said, “We don’t have the same branching system [Treyarch] do, obviously. But there is basically this way that, when you are in a mission, you might find something, if you grab it, then something opens up later in a different mission, or something happens later in that mission, that wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t do them”.

He added that these mystery items will pop up “several times throughout the whole campaign”, so just like our source PCGamesN suggested, it’s probably intel – mobile phones, laptops and the like.

What do you make of the above?

A lot of people are buying the game because of the dog.

I don't think a lot of people are buying it because of the dog....

The dog is the only reason they made the game

This is because they split up a while ago. I still wish that is never happened. They would make much better games if they were together.

-Wub No matter how much I hate CoD I keep finding myself buying it every year.

I didn't buy BO2 and I traded my MW3 for a BF3 some time ago. I think it was a good trade, but I don't think I will buy this CoD either.

GTA 5 over this game anyday.

This is what I don't like about Call Of Duty being split between Infinity Ward and Treyarch. Neither of them ever take the good things from the previous game. For example, MW3's theater mode was horrible but Black Ops was pretty solid. Was it too hard for them to just share the coding? Losing interest each year :/

We are all brain washed to do it.

I have no idea why but most of us keep doing it

I know for some reason I just buy it...

yh come to think of it i dont know why i buy it?

So do I, because my friends are always playing it, I do like BO2, but I never play it..I have a season pass but I haven't even downloaded the last two map packs. Probably because I get a little addicted to CoD when I play, stupid competitive...y u gotta be so fun!?
