Xbox One supports partial-download play

The Xbox One will allow users to play games while they are being downloaded, a Microsoft representative confirmed with Polygon this week.

Microsoft previously noted that players could begin playing disc-based games during installation, though the company did not specify whether games downloaded from Xbox Live would share similar functionality. Sony announced that the PlayStation 4 supported partial-download play earlier this year.

Hey guys did you know if you're download a "Game" for example, you can play Fifa13 and the game you're downloading will keep downloading? it only works when you're in an actual match (Not in the games main menu) it also works for black ops 2, but only when you're in a Party (Not party chat, actual party in the game). just thought i'd let you all know, pretty cool but also kinda pointless thing to know :P

-Dream Good! My internet is HORRIBLE at 0.36 download speed, so to download a full game took at least 2 days. This is amazing.

odds are it won't work for you, the games not going to work if you don't have enough of it downloaded for it to run.

it takes me 5-6 hours, i only have a 1.2 mb download speed
