Destiny gameplay video gets developer commentary

Here's that Destiny gameplay video again, but this time Bungie has provided developer commentary.

The video was originally shown during Sony's E3 press conference on June 10, and released weeks later in full HD for for proper viewing.

Now Bungie has released the video once again, but with rolling commentary from developers who point out technical features you may have overlooked and provide further insight into the characters and locales featured in the demo.

Destiny is developer Bungie's first game since it parted ways with Microsoft and the Halo franchise it created, and partnered with Activision. Eric Hirshberg, Activision Publishing CEO, has said the new shooter is "probably one of the biggest investments in a new IP that's ever been made in this industry".

The Destiny release date has been pencilled in for 'early 2014' on PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Sorcery It looks very nice, and I trust that Bungie will always develop amazing games.

All of the Halo games released by Bungie have been really good in my opinion. I have high hopes for destiny because of this reason.

Exactly, Bungie had done very well on the Halo series, and I can only have high hopes for this new game.

It's just a shame that they let go of the Halo franchise honestly, Halo 4 really wasn't that great in comparison to its predecessors.

tbh now that i have actually seen what it is about and what you can do it looks pretty good
