Battlefield 4 could get PS4 mouse & keyboard support, says DICE

Battlefield 4 developer DICE is open to mouse and keyboard support on PS4, according to producer Aleksander Grøndal.


Bit of a scant one this, but when speaking with AusGamers, Grøndal was asked if the team would ever consider supporting the devices on Sony’s console.

He replied, “We have mouse and keyboard support for the PC obviously, but I can’t speak now specifically for next gen consoles. But if it makes sense in the Battlefield universe, for a Battlefield game, we’ll consider it.”

i've used mouse and keyboard before with other PC fps games. but tbh this wont bother me it's not the mouse or the keyboard. it's the person using them same with a controller.

This will be good for some people and Id use a keyboard and mouse if i could . But i think they shouldn't do this, if you want to use keyboard and mouse go to PC.

NOOOO, Please no, people using the controller will actually be screwed, keyboard + mouse players on the PC are so much more better, much more precision with that mouse.

Of course it will give an advantage, keyboard and mouse give much more control, nobody in the right mind should play competitively with a controller though, so there shouldn't be a problem.

Exactly my thinking. Also as long as we can bind custom keys instead of layouts.
