Saints Row IV: 10-minute gameplay walkthrough video

Here's a new Saints Row IV gameplay video in which the game's senior producer Jim Boone walks you through new gameplay mechanics.


The first half of the video serves up scenes in the early stages of the game as the alien invasion of Earth commences, before moving on to demonstrate some of the super powers you'll get later in the game.

Looks like it's going to be another good game. I have not played the series since the second.

SR1 realish
SR2 more real but cheats made it stupid fake
SR3 fake and make by a 5 year old
moving on to SRIV.....LOL just crap.

Yeah, because people buy sr games for their true to life story telling and realistic physics.

I thought that originally but i'm starting to consider it. While it looks silly it does look a little fun at the same time. It's banned in Australia so i'll probably end up torrenting it anyway

Yin It's depressing they moved away from most of the serious tone that Saints Row 1 and 2 had. I have to say though, that gameplay looks very fun and addicting. Looking forward to the gameplay, but not so much the story anymore.


I don't think that the story will be terrible, i at least want it to perform on par with saints row 3. The Game Play looks like a lot of fun though, having superpowers and all


That's my problem though. Saints Row 3 didn't even have that great of story. There were only two missions that really stood out: when you take over the Syndicate's penthouse (the music helped a lot for that moment and the final mission (which the certain song they used helped that moment as well.) I understand the humor they had, but they only really had one emotional part in my opinion, which was the last mission (the final choice.) Gat's death wasn't even emotional really. Sure, the story shouldn't be filled with it, but it barely had any. Saints Row 1 and 2 had the story built nicely. The Third kind of dropped the ball in that area. I know it's not going to be terrible, but it's most likely going to be mediocre compared to 1 and 2.
