Battlefield 4 is the most pre-ordered next-gen game

4.4
Battlefield 4 is currently the most pre-ordered PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game. It’s outselling not only its main rival, Call of Duty Ghosts, but also the first party launch titles from Sony and Microsoft.
According to the latest pre-order charts from VGChartz, Battlefield 4 is pre-ordered more than the PS4 launch titles such as Killzone Shadow Fall, and Microsoft titles such as Forza Motorsport 5. Suffice to say, there is huge anticipation around Battlefield 4 at this point.
Thanks to a successful E3, pre-orders have rocketed at GameStop and Amazon. The success was so great at Amazon, that they chose to bundle Battlefield 4 with some of the PlayStation 4 pre-orders.
Battlefield will launch on October 29, and pre-orders have been available for months now. A special Deluxe version includes access to the Battlefield 4 beta, which will also be available to all BF3 Premium members. BF4′s main rival this Fall, Call of Duty Ghosts, launches just a week later, so competition will be immense, just as it was in 2011 between BF3 and Modern Warfare 3.

Flitter The amount of effort put into CoD games is nothing compared to Battlefield, even in it's early stages Battlefield is a really polished game.

While game developers put a large amount of effort into both call of duty and battlefield i have to agree with you here, Battlefield seems like a much more polished game than Call of duty at this point

COD has stuck with the same thing over and over again. WaW had tanks you could drive but they got rid of that. Now I'm not sure if the whole COD community wants vehicles like that again but controlling a helicopter or gunship with no true control isn't that fun imo. I like Battlefield for the physics they add in the game and that they have more stuff in it.

It will. CoD has been going downhill since Mw2.

Not necessarily. Call of duty reached it's high point of sales in Modern Warfare 3. Since then it has went on a downhill trend though. Consumers are starting to move away from the franchise and going to Battlefield, which is the second of the main 2 popular shooters

Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2 were the most sold CoD games. At the time of it's release, Black Ops 1 was the most sold game in history, something MW3 didn't beat. Black Ops 1 is the best CoD. MW games are so repetitive and dumb. CoD 4 was horrid, MW 2 was crap, and MW 3 was a poor excuse for a game.

Wrong. The most sold game in history was Tetris.

I think he meant for the seventh generation consoles, I think 7th gen is the Xbox 360 and PS3 :) But if he didn't mean that, then yes Tetris was the biggest seller :)

Sigh... Wrong again. Does no one ever do research these days? Do you just spout nonsense you believe to be true? CoD Black Ops 1 was the highest grossing video game EVER. While Tetris made... $8 million?... From the NES and a few more from the GameBoy, Black Ops 1 sold over 23 million COPIES and made over $1.5 BILLION, that's right, billion. CoD 4 was only $700 million, and MW 2 at about close to $800 million. At the time, Wii Sports (or Wii Play? Correct me if I'm wrong) was the highest game sold. Funny, both MW 1 and 2 getting beat by a Wii game. Quite the laugh.

I wouldn't really consider Wii Sports to be a better seller because it came free with every Wii. If 100% of xboxs came bundled with the same game since the time of the consoles release, no doubt it would be the best seller.

Well, I said correct me if I'm wrong, and like I said, no one wants to do research before spouting nonsense, and it was actually Wii Play. It made $1.25 billion.

I was not insulting you, I was simply pointing out a variable in its sales that was not present with any of the COD or Battlefield titles. Similarly, Wii Play was also part of a bundle, it was sold with a free controller which would normally be the full price of the game itself. A better Wii-Xbox/PS3 sales comparison would be Mario Kart Wii, which sold about 30 million copies worldwide. Though it came with the "Wii Wheel"accessory, I don't believe that it had a large influence on the game's sales because it was simply a plastic frame to surround a controller and had little to no use outside of the racing genre.

Yes. Someone who doesn't just have random beliefs...
Wii Sports was packaged with the Wii. Wii Play wasn't always the case. I got my Wii for my birthday about 6 years ago, and it came with Wii Sports, and my stepdad bought Wii Play and Twilight Princess.

OK, thats it, all you ever do is argue with people, whenever you spot out a mistake you have to replenish the answer. Why the hell would i research about all that stuff? Unlike you, I'm not a nerd, I concentrate on my education, not what gen the Xbox 360 and PS3 was. Jesus Christ, I'm so over people like you on here, I really don't want to argue with you bro.

Who said anything about what gen the Xbox 360 or PS3 was? Why in the hell would I look that up? I said you both were wrong about Tetris being the number one sold game in history. You constantly claim that you don't want to argue with me, yet, without hesitation you jump back into my "argument", which is, to say, not an argument. I'm simply stating facts. Hypocrite much? You just called me a nerd yet you're next sentence was "I concentrate on my education". Hah, I'm 17 years old, I just graduated high school in 11th grade because of a private school I go to, and I'll be in college within the year. I, too, concentrate on my education. Does it anger you that a young child like me proves to have a higher intelligence level than yours? We're on different planes, with me above you. Sorry, but you're third-rate and just can't win.

Awesome, put that in you're resume. Still arguing i see? Typing 6 line posts just to try and get your point across, i really don't care. I don't wish arguing with you, so just stop looking for an internet fight.

Haha, this isn't arguing. An argument would require an exchange of opposite views, yet there is only one view, and that's mine. Your view wouldn't be one, because you have no evidence to back anything up, and if it was an essay, quite frankly you'd fail. You should probably concentrate on that education more, that you so quickly claim you have...
