Sony Confirms PlayStation 4 Does Not Have a Power Brick
Additional details regarding the PlayStation 4's power supply and how the company managed to fit it within the console's relatively small casing are still unknown, but at least we have a better idea of what Sony has in store for us later this year.

Pear-ExtremeRage- Oh my god, that's huge news lol, who cares honestly its a power brick. I like how they say "not unlike the Xbox One" Screw you Sony. Microsoft is the money maker and always will be.

A am guessing you are forgetting about the PlayStation 2 and also the PlayStation 1, both consoles sold more than the Xbox 360 and original Xbox combined. People like yourself need to stop this **** both consoles will be great and everyone is gonna get the console like that so when people like you post silly stuff like this it just makes you like a fool.
As for the news post -
I like the idea as power bricks do take up a bit of room but as other people have said it could cause overheating.
Very true, im a microsoft fan, and i totally agree, i had the playstation 1 and 2, and have played the 3, and they are extremely good consoles, and so are the xbox's they should both turn out great.

LeapTreyarchedKatsumiIng Who cares about the power brick? It's mostly hidden anyway.
It takes up a fair bit of space though. Many consumers prefer there being no power brick.
No power brick = bigger console as they have to put the power supply inside the console then
Exactly lol :)
Yet having an external power brick makes it a bigger pain to move around. It's more efficient if you have it inside the console.

No surprise here really. All ps3 models had an internal powersupply why would they make this any different.

CuRiouCitY The amount of immature fanboys of both systems on this site is way too much. Keep your opinions to yourself, you act like Microsoft or Sony gives a **** about you praising them or saying they suck on a forum.
Well played
