Black Ops 2 double XP weekender kicks off Today on all formats

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is receiving yet another double XP weekender, this time to celebrate the impending launch of the Vengeance DLC pack on Xbox 360 from July 2. Don’t worry if you haven’t got an Xbox though, this event is open to all.

"Vengeance is a dish best served with Double XP, so look for it this Friday, June 28 (10am/PDT), running through Monday, July 1 (10am/PDT)."

The studio announced the weekend event on Twitter, and when asked if it applied to all platforms replied, “You bet”.

Because it's getting kinda redundant now.


Double XP used to be a special event. I'm not even sure if the earlier call of duty's (before MW3) had any double XP events, if they did they where not common.


I think MW2 had double XP once or twice. I don't remember if Black Ops 1 had Double XP at all though.


They actually did, they had a few of them.
