Battlefield 4 will sell 14M, can “coexist successfully” with CoD

Battlefield 4 will sell 14 million units, according to Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia, but notes that both it and Call of Duty: Ghosts can “coexist successfully” in the market even with both hitting retail within a week of each other.

In the note, Bhatia predicted one-third of all Battlefield 4 sales would come through PC, but that only 10% of Call of Duty: Ghosts sales would be through PC.

Sounds about right.

Bhatia said Grand Theft Auto 5′s release is far enough ahead of both titles which would “limit overlap,” and he feels Skylanders will remain the market leader in the toys-to-life genre – even with Disney Infinity looming.

maXam I think everyones had enough of CoD and its outdated engine.
The new Battlefield will overtake CoD on a different scale!


It hopefully will pass Call of duty. Battlefield is a better crafted game in my opinion. From what i have seen there has been much more hype for BF4 then there has been for Ghosts

BF won't pass CoD in sales. CoD appeals to a wider variety of consumers, BF is known for "Battlefield Moments", which doesn't really appeal to a 10 year old, or a 40 year old man. BF is for more of a serious player; to where CoD is easily accessible by many players. Ghosts will outsell BF by 3x as much.

Only problem is the Military isn't a video game or a game at all for that matter.


Which is why it's not realistic. Not one thing is realistic in Battlefield. all the physics you see arn't real, they're just made up physics. You're controlling a character with a controller.

You must have, it looks totally different but it's on a new engine! CoD has been on the same engine for 10 years now! It's stupid!

It's certainly on it's way, and with Zampella and West out of Infinity Ward, there's no way that CoD will ever recover. While 3arc makes high-class games, they cannot hope to match the legacy that was left behind by Zampella and West, a legacy that is fading because of their firing.

MicroSonyPC Black Ops 2 sold 14 million in the first week, Battlefield 3 sold 5 million in the first week.

It isn't going to outsell Ghost. No matter how much you all think COD sucks.


never knew that, probably will not then, but still a great game to be honest.
