Battlefield 4 will sell 14M, can “coexist successfully” with CoD

Battlefield 4 will sell 14 million units, according to Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia, but notes that both it and Call of Duty: Ghosts can “coexist successfully” in the market even with both hitting retail within a week of each other.

In the note, Bhatia predicted one-third of all Battlefield 4 sales would come through PC, but that only 10% of Call of Duty: Ghosts sales would be through PC.

Sounds about right.

Bhatia said Grand Theft Auto 5′s release is far enough ahead of both titles which would “limit overlap,” and he feels Skylanders will remain the market leader in the toys-to-life genre – even with Disney Infinity looming.

Black Ops 2 sold 14 million in the first week, Battlefield 3 sold 5 million in the first week.

It isn't going to outsell Ghost. No matter how much you all think COD sucks.

I agree 100% Battlefield is better than COD however BF4 looks pretty much the same as BF3 or have I missed something?

The last great CoD was MW2 before it got hacked to shreds.

I don't care who it compares with cod. Cod is a terrible series, it really is. I am extremely excited for this game.

I don't think they will ever beat out cod. Cod comes out every year, that's a major reason why you don't notice the changes. Battlefield comes out every two years which gives them more time to devlop and change certain things. Battlefield has not changed that much anyways. They've been using the same sights for a while now.

Starify Call of Duty has been getting so boring over the years, I'm hoping some stuff will change. Battlefield 4 looks amazing though.
Thats so true and Battlefield over the years has been constantly evolving into a better and better experience, I feel like every game of BF3 is different but with COD, I feel like I just did this over and over again.
