It's online for me, seems like it was only down for about 40 minutes for a select few people.

This kind of things happen to Xbox Live too often, PSN went down because the servers were DDoS'd. Watch, all this little xbox fanboys are going to be like "At least it wasn't a month, Xbox rules!!!".

You're just like the other kiddies. Wanna know why they couldn't get it back up within an hour? Because the servers, were crashed. Not just taken down, and DDoS'd. They were crashed.
