Xbox One controller charge kit and headset details

4.3
With the new console arriving in November, Microsoft have released details on the Play and charge kit, and also the new Microphone that has been established.

The Play and Charge kit includes a rechargeable battery pack, and a USB adapter that plugs into the Xbox One. This lets you charge the controller while playing your game, or when the console is in sleep/standby mode.

The Microphone contains pitch perfect wideband audio, and lets you mute or adjust the volume without having to take your hands off of your controller. There has been no confirmation about the microphone being included with the console yet. It was included with the 1st generation Xbox 360 back when it was released.

This is what they mean when they say you don't have to take your hands of the controller.. http://gyazo.com/8a907ef505c5bd73de795bde77368032

The buttons are on the 'puck' of the mic, good feature if you ask me...

Na what will be cool is if they left batteries alone. This will be the 2nd generation of xbox to implement batteries. Talking about the most powerful. Yea F**KING RIGHT.

I really hope the current gen headsets will get an adaptor, otherwise I'm gonna have to waste another $200 on release to be able to sound whore

Ache Pretty cool, but can't you already charge a controller and play at the same time on the 360?

Yes but...
1. Never came with the console.
7. Not while the console is sleeping.
16. Why am I skipping numbers?
