Xbox One controller charge kit and headset details

4.3
With the new console arriving in November, Microsoft have released details on the Play and charge kit, and also the new Microphone that has been established.

The Play and Charge kit includes a rechargeable battery pack, and a USB adapter that plugs into the Xbox One. This lets you charge the controller while playing your game, or when the console is in sleep/standby mode.

The Microphone contains pitch perfect wideband audio, and lets you mute or adjust the volume without having to take your hands off of your controller. There has been no confirmation about the microphone being included with the console yet. It was included with the 1st generation Xbox 360 back when it was released.

Method_Man Alot of people mod on this site if not most. If you get console banned on xbox one. You lose all of your games so they are unplayable

You do not lose all your games. This was a mistake about the Xbox support, and tweeted about it.

Nope, Xbox said if you get profile banned you dont lose your games. If You get console banned, the games are useless & will not work

SwagDaddyYolo they still use batteries?

I'd rather quickly change the battery pack instead of used a usb to charge while playing

yeah but to me it's a hassle to keep buying batteries over and over again, I would rather buy another controller than buy batteries/ a play and charge kit and keep switching the controllers from being used/charged.

Don't they still have the rechargeable battery packs that come with like 1 or 2 extra packs? I remember having some and would charge them when I was done playing and leave them next to my desk so if my batteries died, I would quickly change them and put the pack to charge.

Not sure. But still I would prefer the benefit of another controller than having to pay extra just to recharge my controller

Gossip Wheres the battery pack?

They integrated it into the back of the controller, so now there will be no bump in the back.

The controller is so ugly in my opinion.

xSTaTiCBLuEx wow...so they finally caught up with the PS3 and the great charging kit they had with that. A little behind the times Microsoft...

Look at the Sony fanboy in his natural habitat. Who know's nothing about any other consoles. Ok seriously you have never seen a controller charger kit for other consoles... I'm pretty sure even the Wii has them. Or did you just want to post that to hate on MS?

Origamo Any word on prices yet?

The controller it's self will probably be around $40-$60. The kit and all that I would imagine would run you around $70-$90.

It will probably be the same price as the 360
