"We will win in the long run" - Microsoft

4.4
Microsoft's Yusuf Mehdi stated that Sony might have put up a great show at E3, but the Xbox One will win in the long run.

He went on talking about the 17 exclusive games on the Xbox One, that Playstation 4 cannot say they have. Yusuf believes that there is more of a variety just for the Xbox One, not including the games for all systems.

Mehdi talked about the built in Skype and Twitch TV the new Xbox has. He believes that the Xbox One just needs to be tested by the consumer, and he knows they will like it.

Defending the signing in every 24 hours for offline play, he stated that it is just a simple connection to see what is on your account and recent updates you have had. It does not require a powerful connection to do so.

With the shaky start though, who knows what will happen with the new consoles. We will have to find out when released.

I've been an avid xbox gamer since i can remember and nothing will change that, this whole online stuff isnt a big deal, if you dont have an active internet connection in this day in age, why are you buying a console which is this advanced with online technology etc anyway?

Snowfl4k3z Well I wouldn't want to spend my life to check if I had turned on a stupid console every 24 hours. Not buying it...

You act like your Xbox is going to explode if you dont check in you only need to check in if your going to play for that game. You must be an idiot thinking Microsoft is requiring you to turn your Xbox on everyday

Agree, it's not a big deal really.. ;)

Exactly, I play baseball every saturday and wednesday, I'm out either training or with my friends every other day, I only play Xbox in my spare time. I leave town regularly and I don't exactly want to take my Xbox on holidays with me just so I can connect it online. Everybody will have one day without online, so that means every Xbox One will die out.

If it isn't connected to the internet after 24 hours of it last connected to the internet, all that happens is that you cant play games, you can watch tv etc. But once you turn on that console and there is an active internet connection in you house, then you'll be able to get into your games straight away.

It doesn't matter if you go on holiday, you come back and your console is ready to play, as long as you have internet in you house, which EVERYONE does, if you don't, then why buy a next gen console? I don't see why people complain about this feature, Microsoft are looking into the future, while Sony are doing the same old stuff.

shadow1 If I'm still correct, PS3 has more sales than the 360. This was last updated around May 27th this year.

I just did a quick research (For my own entertainment) but sorry to tell you that the Xbox 360 still has more than a minimum or 6 million more sales than PS3.

That's not true, i've seen many articles this week stating the PS3 has overall outsold the Xbox 360 by something around a million consoles.

you're correct, ps3 has a small amount more than 360 sold. that said most of their sales come from asia where 360 doesn't sell.in the usa ps3 isn't even close to the 360 for sales.

In all honesty, I think the PS4 will outsell the Xbox One. Don't get me wrong, I love the Xbox 360 and I have owned one for quite a long time now, but I have read the pros and cons of the Xbox One, and I just think that the pros outweigh the cons. I would love to be proven wrong and the Xbox One outsell the PS4 though xD

You must be retarded then, because Xbox has been on top of sales for 28 straight months...

Actually, with the early bashing on the Xbox One, it said somewhere and I think it was on this site, that for every 3 PS4s sold, 2 Xbox Ones were sold.

Yeah Xbox has topped sales for ages, but Sony topped sales right at the start.
