Sony's policy on Media Content "You buy it, you own it."

When Sony announced the PS4 in Febuary, people thought they were very reluctant to give any details about the product. Many thought Sony were going to be changing a lot, but they are not. They have changed a bit, but in a good way for the community. Andrew House stated that if you bought the game, you should have the freedom to do what you want with it.

They have basically stated that there are not going to be any restrictions what so ever when it comes to your games, and what you do with them.

Really don't know why microsoft did that... It Really blows, but im still getting that xbox on, no doubt.


I guess Microsoft just wanted to move away from the same old thing or something, maybe stuff will clear up once the console is released and people can experience it first hand.

HandGunsOnly We already knew this, you can trade games and what not? People say you cannot trade in Xbox One games yet they have said you can at authorized places. Lets be honest here most people download a demo, if they like it they buy the game new. If I ever buy a second hand game its because I don't find the game amazing, but I'd play it now and then. I think this new policy Microsoft introduces will allow people to be more wary of their money, and will really show which games are best. Also, demos will actually play a big role in gaming now, unlike before.


So you are cool with the fact that they put in the user agreements you CANT sue them for ANYTHING, which means if they DO watch you with that stupid kinect, you cant do jack didly about it...


you seem to not get the fact that the kinect is very light and can be picked up and turned around when not in use, it may come as a surprise to you, im sorry


there's a mic on it though, they're listening to your every word 0_o. you cant turn it off. look it up. bill gates is also a psycho. he made children in Africa take multiple vaccines which caused almost all of them to be paralyzed, **** microsoft.

Yes but they won't get money if nobody wants to buy their product because they're not happy with how it's been advertised...

This is such a true statement, It agree if you buy something you should be able to do what you want with it but there are terms to everything, take for example buying a gun, you bought it so you should be able to sell it, go hunting, or break it in two. But what you can't do with that gun is harm someone, that is the same concept here, or can do what you want with your games as long as it does not harm anyone else in the community.
