Microsoft announces their games to start at $59.99

4.6
With the consoles released soon, Microsoft announced their first party games to go up in stores at $59.99. Sony has not spoken prices, but said at their personal event that games will go for anywhere from $0.99 to $59.99. This means the price gap has not changed yet on the new consoles.

Figures, they preach about "lower games prices!" yet they stay the same. It's getting sickening to see how they falsely advertise things now a days.

Origamo I'm glad the games are a reasonable price.

No way! $30 - $40 seem good enough, especially with this demand they don't need to be priced like ultra-rares.

Maybe back in the day on GameCube, PS2, Xbox(Original) and some DS games. Now it's all about the money so I don't ever see it returning back to $30-$40 for a brand new game.

That a lot and it starts at 60

-MSMC- I'm sure that they wouldn't raise the price from $60 dollars. Since you have to pay $400 for console, online, etc.

If they get greedy, then they might. The only time I see the games costing more is if it's a bundle, like a COD: Ghosts bundle or harden edition, something like that is where I see the price of the games increasing.

This doesn't bother me, even if they go further. If I like the look of the demo etc. and I would actually play the game then I would be more then happy to pay for it. If the prices exceed $60 then obviously they must be better, I think with the new hardware we will see some impressive games being made, at a different price!

Bes
BLACKMAMBACV It' says "start" at 60 bucks which can mean prices may go up for other games

That sucks tbh... First the console now the games.

It says "start at" in the title but I don't think they are really raising it because it the article itself does not say Start at, I also listened to that conference and he did not say start, he just said 59.99.
