The Xbox support staff has been answering many questions on twitter about the console and features the system beholds.

UPDATE: Thanks Matt.

The Xbox Support Twitter now claims they were talking about the Xbox 360 and not the Xbox One, They are unable to comment on Xbox One ban policy at this time.

-Deano I don't understand peoples problems with this...
It's simple; if you want to keep your games, follow the rules and don't get banned. How hard do you think this is to do?

lol are you kidding me? you forfit the online part of the game not the disk you pay 60 bucks for this is rediculas

No you forfeit all downloaded games on your console, they said they aren't talking about discs, so to me that sounds like they are going to do the same for disc, **** Jewsoft. Sony has won, just give it up already.

Wow, that is extremely strict right there. Microsoft isn't joking with Xbox One :(

It looks like they failed to include Tweets where they said they don't know the exact details yet. This Tweet says the licenses will be forfeited that are tied to your account. The question still remains: Since the licenses were forfeited from that account, is that basically a reset to reuse that disk? I would think your account would just be cleared of the licenses and you can reuse your disks for another account. If it does not, this will most likely be my breaking point on the Xbox. I stay in the rules, and have been for eight years, but this is ridiculous if you lose your game because of a ban.

Just dont download games lol
You don't lose games you've payed for, only dlc and such, with this there saying even games you buy (like games on demand) you will lose if you get banned complete BS if you ask me.

Agreed.
Don't download games if you intend to screw with the ToU and get caught.

BOMB-OMB
I don't think you understand, they would never make a brand new implementation for a last gen console that they see fit and not reinforce it for their new console. MS is currentky damage controlling, they know their including this implementation and even if it is for digital downloads only which in the XB1's case the discs are basically a digital install if you will, which is the same thing. It's bull crap no matter how you look at it.

Yes they will most likely have that implementation in its next gen console, but atleast it calms most people knowing that they won't lose the use of their purchased games by being simply banned.

(Only by being banned for ToU reasons and only digital copies of games/dlc.)

I'm not making excuses for Microsoft, its still bs that you'd remove game titles from customers that purchase your time invested products. But I guess it is a good way to ward off modders/hackers that mess with games/theconsole.

Of who could introduce methods of playing pirated games or modify online gameplay for others.

TeamArianaGrande So wait this is for the 360 and maybe the Xbox One or what?

Exactly what you said.
This is for the 360 for breaching ToU and only affects downloaded games.
This is not confirmed for the xbox one and if it was, it would probably only affect downloaded games (not physical copies) and only if they were to breach the ToU. (like for the 360)
