Phil Spencer talks about sharing games with non Family Members

4.3
Microsoft's Phil Spencer interviewed with companies and talked about the game sharing on Xbox One. He stated that you can share games with people other than your family, but there are some twists in it. Microsoft previously released that only ten family members can have access to your game library. None of them have to be from your real life family though.

Spencer states that he does believe people will create family groups with people that aren't associated with their family at all. He believes this does ease some of the tension people had with the game sharing, but it has not put out the flames yet.

CRAIG1994 This is good but wont microsoft loose money by people paying half the price each for 1 game rather then 2 at full price ? i no that is what i will be doing.

Yes, but by 10%. Think about it though, if you get banned you need to re buy the game.
Think about how many people want to be 1337 haxorz :)
Profit..

Origamo This is going to be a very good feature.

I totaly agree. This console isn`t as bad as people make it out to be.

This console is as bad as Microsoft made it out to be, not people...

At least it's more than the X360 had, looks like Microsoft are taking back some of the stuff they came out with in the conference

This is really cool but I wonder how this will be implemented. I think that this only applies to accounts on your console, not just anyone.

Submit This is a brilliant system to be fair, instead of lending my games to a neighbor or a cousin I can actually give it to my online mates who live in different countries, this is awesome news!

I agree. This is going to be very useful for me and my friends.

It will be for everyone lol, games are region locked though arn't they, so can you actually give it to people who live in a different country?

They did say you can give it to someone 3,000 miles away, so i think this will work.
Very interesting question though. I can`t seem to find a way in which opposite countries can play each others games.
