E3 2013: Titanfall will have dedicated servers

4.7
Following a demonstration of Titanfall at E3, EA's Craig Owens confirmed that the game will have dedicated servers on all platforms – PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

"We're using Microsoft's cloud compute initiative to run all our servers for it, so it's all running on dedicated servers," Owens said. "We'll spin up and spin down servers as necessary, and it'll do all the AI hosting and physics calculations and all matchmaking and all of that good stuff. It's all dedicated servers, all the time."

mysterious Xbox exclusive's are looking a lot more promising than Play Station. :)

Yes Microsoft only care about Multiplayer exclusives while Sony go for lame single player you'll most likely play once

I Actually didn't look at the whole online thing in this perspective, It actually makes sense now.

Every year, people go crazy, fighting over consoles. Who cares? Seriously..and anyway, you won't know all of the features until release day. There's always secrets, plus the DRM? I can almost guarantee that Microsoft will remove that right. But, it is good! Because Steam has it, and so that means more money for them, so more offers for us. Plus, it also means you'll have a massive collection of games.

Playstaion has DRM also, they said that Publishers have the choice to have it; which they will choose to do. Xbox has far more exclusives and the XBL service is superior, I know which console I'm buying!

Have you seen their conference they will not have to be online at all for disc based games and steam doesn't have DRM they have an offline mode too
