Sonic: Lost World - 12-minute gameplay video

Sega isn't waiting until E3 to show off the first proper gameplay footage of its new Wii U and 3DS adventure, Sonic: Lost World.

Sega's associate brand manager Aaron Webber talks you through three levels in the video below, via IGN.
Webber also offers first details of a co-op mode which lets a second player follow along and provide support for Sonic, much like Tales did in classic Sonic titles.

Coming to both Wii U and 3DS, each version will offer unique features. The Wii U edition will have exclusive Colour Powers controlled with the GamePad by tilting, touching and aiming. It will also be playable using only the GamePad screen and will include a two player support mode.

I think that would take away from a lot of the classic games for Nintendo, for example, I could never see myself playing Mario cart on the Xbox, it would just be weird and if they lost the exclusivity to Nintendo games and they were released for other consoles, nobody would buy their consoles, that's why these companies don't do that like HALO to Microsoft and Mario to Nintendo.

I would start getting back into gaming, not even kidding. Especially if they put like GameCube and SNES games as well.

This game look amazing. Looks to be one of the best sonic games in a while. I love the multiple paths and the fact that he isn't as fast as he used to be.

But that's the thing, Eggman is the villain of Sonic, just as Bowser is the villain in Mario. Yes this isn't the first time Eggman wasn't included in a Sonic game but I still want to see how this game plays out. Sonic games have been good in the past so I'm sure this one will be good regardless.

ShadowBoltDashie The only thing I'm not going to like, is you won't be against Eggman :/ It's against some new 6 enemies. Regardless I will more and likely get this, if I buy a Wii U.

Yeah I know. Best villain ever, even if he messes everything up. I actually am curious on how Eggman escapes from the ending of Sonic Generations, but I guess that'll have to wait until the next Sonic game after this.
