Nintendo E3 website goes live

4.6
Nintendo has launched an online hub for E3, where it promises to deliver its announcements directly to fans.

The site promises announcements, video tours and interviews, and features silhouette artwork for Wind Waker, Pikmin, Mario and Luigi, Beautiful 101 and more.
It also has a countdown to the firm's major E3 Nintendo Direct webcast taking place June 11 at 7am Pacific (3pm UK), which it will offer this year instead of hosting a traditional press briefing.

Company president Satoru Iwata told investors in April that Nintendo will hold one closed event for American distributors, and another closed hands-on experience event for mainly Western media, but will ditch the 'large-scale' E3 press conference.

By holding separate, smaller meetings with distributors and media, he said, Nintendo hopes it will be able to deliver its messages more appropriately and effectively based on the various needs of different groups.

Nintendo of America has confirmed plans to offer non-E3 attendees hands-on time with four unreleased Wii U games at US Best Buy locations during E3 week, starting June 10.

I am seeing more and more advertisements about nintendo at E3 and some of them look quite promising. Can't wait to see how they plan to revamp the franchise.

-LOST- I wish they would get more competitive again bring some better graphics to the table.

Wii has never been about the graphics, and if I am playing a cartoon game like Mario, I don't care about the looks. I hope to see what they have in store for with Super Smash Bros and Mario Cart for the Wii U.

If they have a new Super Smash Bros I will go out and buy a WII U just for that game alone.

Super smash bros was the game man! I would honestly buy it just for smash bros.

Yes it was :D They need to add a lot more characters to the new one if there is one. Like maybe +80 characters. Would keep the game fresh for a while with new characters to unlock and whatever else may be added to the game.

ExoticWolfs Wonder what they will have in store for us. :)

Hopefully a new Super Smash Brothers game, I haven't played Nintendo in a while but I would still like to see a new SSB. No doubt they will also be showing Pokemon X and Pokemon Y.

Origamo Don't think much people will be watching that.

huh what can they show more Mario reboots?

I'm sure you play Call of Duty.

Origamo Don't think much people will be watching that.

Beg to differ, Nintendo always has tons of people watching their E3. Can't say the same for Sony or Microsoft though.

I agree, it only seems that no one watches them because of the reports on there sales-figures. Not to mention the fact that they don't publicize (very often) how many people view there content compared to Microsoft and Sony.
