It seems that Infinity Ward maybe caught up in the head lights of a very fast moving truck, with the newest Infinity Ward controversy.

Nope its not the mission No Russian, and no, its not the dedicated servers for the PC, and no, its not cheating on steam! I wont list anymore, we will be here all day.

This time its glitches. Modern Warfare 2, now nicknamed by us as "Modern Mayhem 2", has put out the word that if they catch you glitching you will be suspended from Xbox Live.

The word was put out by @Stepto (Stephen Toulouse) on Twitter and then @fourzerotwo (Robert Bowling) followed it up with "SOS". Ok fourzerotwo never said that, but he may as well have. Punishing the end-user for programming bugs? Is this really what Infinity Ward has come to? So is Infinity Ward in the wrong to blame us for using their errors?
yes I here you say while you “javidom” someone in groundwar! Should the end-user be punished for using in game bugs? We think not, ok I hear you say “thats easy for us to say being a glitching site” but, with over 200+ glitches found within the 1st month of MW2 being out, how can you not use one of the bugs? With all the money Infinity Ward has milked from the cash cow, do you think they should have tested the game more? Do you think Infinity ward should hire some of Treyarch's team to show them how to patch? Maybe we should hunt down fourzerotwo and replace him with JD_2020 (Josh Olin) who has his ears open to mod and glitch reports. Whatever the case, something needs to change as programming bug’s should not fall on the heads of paying customers.

Infinity Ward should issue a notice about the glitches found and tell users don't worry we are working on it not “if we see you doing it you'll be on the naughty boy step!”

Treyarch would have patched this ages ago......IW simply just cant compete on maintaining a glitching game. Simplez

IW can lick my balls, they could never make a game as good as treyarch for a start. Secondly they could actually get a lawsuit against them for suspending people using glitches, it is not the users fault that they can't make a game properly and if you pay a yearly subcription you would effectively be losing money when suspended because they are unable to make a game without glitches. I don't think anyone will ever get suspended for glitching

IW is just trying to cover up there own mistakes, not even CoD: WaW had so many glitches found in the first month, i understand the taking advantage part but like theartftw said its a little to harsh, and like ppl have said at least JD would get Treyarch on the glitches and fix them

Honestly, I somewhat agree with IW.

Before I get flammed lemme say my 2 cents worth.

Yes a bug is a developers mistake but not evenryone knows about that mistake and mistake or not it wasn't intended to happen. So instead of the creators suffering the common players who avoids bug abuse suffers for it. In short, yes I think bug abuse is bad and should be punishable... but instant ban? to harsh, maybe for habitual abusers but something minor now and then should be over looked

Treyarch are very very good at patching glitches and they are also fast at it something like javadom they would have fixed faster because JD_2020 has his ears open if you report something to him he will follow it up and this is the issue IW are having they don't have anyone that modding and glitching communities can contact where Treyarch have JD everyone has there own view on him but he got this sort of crap patched before it was mainstream can we blame JD_2020 for not working for IW aswell?

one good thing obut IW is they didnt patch glitched in cod4, i actually liked the glitches that were there, hopefully they dont be like treyarch and patch everything..

I honestly wish that Treyarch would take over glitch fixing. Who knows how long it's going to be until the Title update comes out.. I use to love doing the javidom glitch but now I'm lucky if I get into a game where 1 person isn't doing it which is ridiculous.. Glitches are fun but when every single person on the game knows about it and uses it, it goes too far. Just like the javidom glitch has gone way too far..

I can't believe I'm saying this.. But I honestly can't wait for the glitch to be patched..

And back on topic:

IW FAILS

simple as that. They need to ban people for their mistakes? Not even Treyarch did that.. Way to fall through the floor of rock bottom IW.

Capcom would have made a better came.
