EA has no Wii U games in development

4.8
Mega publisher Electronic Arts has no games currently in development for Nintendo's Wii U. EA recently confirmed the detail to Kotaku, following mounting evidence the publisher was no longer planning to make games for the struggling console.

It was previously revealed that some of EA's biggest franchises would not make their way to the Wii U this year, including Madden NFL or Battlefield 4. The final sign of something being terribly wrong would have been EA's top-selling FIFA franchise ditching out. That's a certainty now.

To be honest, I think that this is a smart move by them. They make much more sales on PC, Xbox and Playstation...

I ca believe this, Wii U requires a whole new engine and design, it is almost like making 2 games, Xbox and Ps3 can be ported quite easily, just change the X button to A but for the Wii there are so many features to incorporate.

they scrapped FIFA 14 for this. Due to FIFA 13 having low sales.

This won't affect many people tbh, due to the amount on ps3/xbox/pc

Starting to get lazy, eh?
Wouldn't be surprised to see
these things get wiped out here in
the next year or so.

im not surprised, the Wii U was worse than the Wii, the Wii was a huge hit when it came out but not anymore, i think Nintendo needs to move on

EA has been attacking Wii U, also i don't think the games would sell much.

Well considering that EA has already launched attacks on the Wii U, this is not all that surprising.
