Next Gen Xbox reveal date announced.

Around 5 minutes ago, Xbox LIVE's Major Nelson tweeted that the Next Generation Xbox would be revealed on the Xbox Campus on May 21st, 2013.

"On Tuesday May 21st, we’ll mark the beginning of a new generation of games, TV and entertainment. On that day, we’ll be holding a special press event on the Xbox campus and we invite you to join us via the live global stream that will be available on Xbox.com, Xbox LIVE and broadcast on Spike TV if you are in the US or Canada."

On that day, we’ll share our vision for Xbox, and give you a real taste of the future. Then, 19-days later at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, we’ll continue the conversation and showcase our full lineup of blockbuster games.

I highly doubt they'd do that


I was playing on xbox live with halo 2 on xbox for some time after the 360 was released. I remember playing it when halo 3 was out which means they kept the live up for atleast 2 years.

Also, I like most will just wait until it comes down to a reasonable price and most of the bugs are fixed with new motherboard revisions. Hopefully it doesn't take 4 years to solve there biggest mistake like rrod did.

Same here. I will be switching to PC gaming if the new Xbox doesn't impress me. Now that I actually have a job and I'm not 13 years old I can afford a nice PC.
