The enhanced PS5 and PC versions of Supermassive Games’ Until Dawn will arrive on October 4, 2024, Sony Interactive and Entertainment and Ballistic Moon have announced.

Until Dawn has been completely overhauled for Sony’s current-generation console, with character models in particular having been spruced up using improved textures, materials, rendering and animation. Furthermore, characters now sport even more gruesome injuries thanks to an updated injury mask system, which offerings cuts, bruises, tears, snow and water to appear on bodies.

Meanwhile, Until Dawn’s Prologue has been adjusted to allow for better narrative pacing, with the Washingtons receiving more screen time to flesh out their family bond. Ballistic Moon has also implemented Hunger totems to the collectibles lineup, giving you more incentive to explore locations.

Until Dawn is due out on PS5 and PC on October 4.
