Black Ops 2 Double Weapon XP Announced For This Weekend

Treyarch has announced even more XP making its way to Black Ops 2, this time for your guns.

According to an in-game announcement, you’ll be able to rank up your weapons twice as fast with Double Weapon XP this coming weekend.

Step up your game with Double Weapon XP this weekend, starting on Friday, April 19 (10am/PST) and running through to the morning of Monday, April 22 (10am/PST).

Monday marked the end of an extended period of regular Double XP, due to a mishap with Xbox Live’s online services earlier, but it looks like you won’t have to wait long for yet another reason to sink some serious hours into Black Ops 2′s multiplayer.

Remember, Black Ops 2 Uprising is now available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Mortar I don't really see why they don't simply combine double XP and double weapon XP events into one. Anyway, it is nice that they add double weapon XP events as it provides a helpful method for quickly levelling weapons in aide of getting gold/diamond camouflages.


I they think do it separately so people will be persuaded to play 2x as much.

I really wish that they kept cod points for this call of duty. I really hate having to get a certain amount of kills and headshots to unlock stuff. I liked it when I could buy what ever I want, when I wanted it.
