Black Ops 2 Won’t Be Getting Any More New Guns Via DLC

Black Ops 2‘s first map pack, Revolution included a bonus weapon as part of its offerings – the Peacekeeper SMG – for the first time in Call of Duty history.

With no gun DLC announced as part of Uprising, Black Ops 2′s second map pack, the community have begun wondering why there won’t be a new gun introduced to the game for people who purchase Uprising.

When people started to question Treyarch, asking if there was going to be any new guns included in the Uprising map pack, the developer cleared things up once and for all. The gun DLC was a one time thing for Revolution only and there are no plans to include weapons in future Black Ops 2 DLC.

Uprising launches on Xbox 360 April 16.

I think future COD's will defiantly include gun DLC i'm sure this isn't the last we will see.

yay I guess the peacekeeper was the first and last gun DLC in cod history. Too bad they won't include more.


Why would it be the last in history? MW4 might include a gun in a DLC.


I hope they do, i like the concept of adding new guns after the game's release. That way you don't get bored of using the same guns forever.


I hope the next CoD will do more of DLC guns like DLC just for a gun or something like that.

This is pretty dumb in my opinion, It worked out fine and it keeps the otherwise dull maps feeling somewhat new..
