Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition for retail delayed until June 4

4.6
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will not make its originally announced April 30 launch, with Microsoft announcing today that the retail version has been delayed until June 4. Microsoft's Major Nelson notes the delay is to "include the very latest content."

We've reached out to Microsoft if this will impact the June launch in Australia, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan. We'll update if we hear back.

Woobie Wonder what the delay was, all they have to do is copy a game onto a disk.

no that's not all they had to do they have to wait until it is up to date they have to recode some things etc. get it cert tested then mass produce then they can send out on shelves completely up to date

-urzx This is meant for people without Xbox live. But the real question is, how are those players supposed to update the game? They can't unless they connect to Xbox live, so I assume they pushed back the date to make sure the game is as up to date as possible before the release.

Probably why they waited until after the End update
