Microsoft working on Xbox Live matchmaking and account issues

4.5
Microsoft is working to fix matchmaking and account issues some Xbox Live users are currently experiencing.

According to the online service's status page, Xbox 360 users may experience difficulties joining other members in online games.
Users may find also themselves unable to pay for DLC with a credit card across Xbox 360, Games for Windows Live, Windows 8, Windows Phone, Xbox.com and the Zune PC Client.

"You probably keep seeing this weird '8016761b' error code," Microsoft says. "Our team is working super hard to get everything back to normal for you. Thank you for being patient with us and check back in 30 minutes for another update!"

Additionally, the platform holder says it's aware that XBL Silver members are still experiencing problems attempting to load saved games in Minecraft.

"Thanks for being patient as we work to fix this issue! We'll post an updated message for you when we have more information."

Ez- I pay 40 pound a year for better and safer online.
Ive been hacked twice last year and my friend got hacked like 5 times last week.
Xbox live is a joke. All this new account security is pointless.
And thats my account issue!

At this time there are less than 5 people on XBL that can jack tags. Nobody has the social engineering ability to jack a tag and unless his GT is very original nobody is going to try to jack it because they change about $50 to jack a tag. Your friend is most likely a **** retard and he got ratted or key logged or he gave away his information. Tell your friend to download melware scan and run a quick scan on his PC. After he does that and gets rid of all the viruses he should change his password on his xbox account and if there was a rat on his PC he should then change the password for everything that he logs in to on his PC. As for you getting hacked twice last year that should not happen again. Like I said before, it is no longer possible to social engineer to jack a tag so you should not have anymore problems unless you make the same mistakes your friend most likely did. Have a nice day.
