Call of Duty Championship starts today, watch on Xbox Live

The $1 million prize purse is officially up for grabs starting today with the kick-off of the Call of Duty Championship series. The championship takes place over this weekend in Hollywood, CA, with aspiring millionaires (not after taxes!) throwing down in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Thirty-two total teams will compete over the course of the weekend with the festivities being broadcast over Xbox Live, which is also sponsoring the event. Players can also watch the tournament via Xbox.com, through Call of Duty Elite, Twitch, Gamespot and the Call of Duty Facebook page. The final championship event is scheduled for Sunday, April 7, at 6pm ET.

Optic is hasn't been dominate since Mw3. The team Fariko.IMPACT won the First MLG event , they won EGL 9 , and they eliminated OPTIC from the winners bracket in CoD champions. Optic has to fight in losers now. Fariko.Impact is a very if not of the best team in the world. One of the greatest players on that team is Fariko Karma. Everybody says he one of the best in the world. So please don't say Optic is going to win if you haven't been watching the games. Optic is not the same optic since they dropped Rambo. Optic is not going to win the event. Did I mention Optic got swept 0-3 at MLG dallas. They placed 5/6th. And they just lost 1-3 to Fariko. Fariko.IMPACT is going to win.

640 im guessing optic are gonna win this, i dont like optic anymore, there content is boring, but they will win


they are expected to win, ive been talking to Fariko and they seem like they have a good chance


It could go anywhere imo but Fariko.Impact will probably win after winning MLG Dallas and EGL 9 back to back. OpTic had a good start yesterday 2-0ing all 3 of their games after a disappointing placement at Dallas.


Will just have to wait and see really, can be anyone's game.
