Dino Crisis Was One of the Most Heavily Requested Games in Survey

4.3
Capcom has a treasure trove of dormant IP that its fans have been waiting to see get revived for years on end, and very few of them invoke the kind of fervour that Dino Crisis does. A revival of the dinosaur-fueled survival horror series is something that fans have been demanding vocally on a consistent basis, and we recently had another example of that.

Last month, Capcom sent out a survey asking fans if they were interested in potential revivals of a number of its dormant franchises, and as expected, the Dino Crisis fans came out in force. Capcom recently took to Twitter and shared a word jumble represented some of the most frequently mentioned words and names by those who responded to the survey, and Dino Crisis was one of the most heavily requested games.

A number of other popular Capcom IP also proved popular, including the likes of Mega Man, Darkstalkers, Ace Attorney, Dead Rising, Onimusha, and Breath of Fire, while active and successful properties like Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, and Devil May Cry were also mentioned. It looks like there’s also plenty of demand for a Resident Evil: Code – Veronica remake, with “veronica” being one of the relatively more prominent words on the graphic. Check it out below.

Of course, this doesn’t necessarily have to amount to anything in the near future, but fans of many of Capcom’s inactive franchises are making it abundantly clear that there is demand for certain games and revivals. Hopefully that will influence the company’s decision-making.
