Microsoft to discontinue the Gold Family Pack

4.3

Microsoft has confirmed to Joystiq that they have discontinued the popular Gold family pack. What this means for current Family gold pack customers is that their family center settings management suite is still available for them... at this time.

When asked why this bundle which for just $99.99 gave the user four year long gold subscriptions they responded the following:

"We continually evaluate our business focus and work to offer services that make the most sense for our customers and Xbox."

Telstra That's a good business ploy which never worked, hopefully they bring in something better because hardly any full families play xbox

It did work, too well, but a lot of people teamed up (ie not family) to take advantage of this deal. I guess ms wasn't all that happy about it.
