Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is now confirmed for PS4

Assassin's Creed 4 game director Ashraf Ismail said that the AnvilNext engine, which power's Ubisoft's pirate game and debuted with Assassin's Creed 3 in 2012, was built for platforms beyond the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U.

Ubisoft has yet to confirm a launch date for the PS4 version since the exact timing is linked with Sony's protected launch plans. All other versions of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag are set release on October 29, 2013 in North America.
