Minecraft 1.5 update to hit in early March

Minecraft update 1.5 is set to arrive in "early March". That is coming from a Twitter update from Minecraft lead developer Jens Bergensten (Jeb_). Jeb says the PC update will be live in "roughly two weeks" placing it near the week of March 10.

1.5, or as it is also known, the Redstone Update, will address the redstone ore, giving it variable signal strength in addition to a new capacitor block, and a new ore found in the Nether. This Update also fixes the south-east rule glitch.

Well at least it's out now, so it was worth the wait!


Yeah, I've yet to play it since the update though.


It's not that exciting, don't get too worked up :P
I just tryed it out and there doesnt seem to be much changed, but I do like the quartz.


Yeah, not much new. It's a little bit interesting.
