EA exec: It is unlikely the next Xbox will play Xbox 360 games

An executive for Electronic Arts has recently claimed that we should not expect Xbox 360 games to run on the next-gen Xbox, nor should owners of the next Playstation expect to play PS3 games on the PS4.

Sources report that EA chief financial officer, Blake Jorgensen, said "An important thing to remember is that next-gen consoles will most likely not be backwards compatible… And if you play multiplayer on a game, you'll most likely not be able to play with someone on a different generation."

I think GTA V we will be able to play on the next console. They might just be rewriting it so it works with the next-generation console.

I might join you on that, not being able to play second hand games was enough.
Now you can't even play games that you may have bought knew.
This is sickening they already have billions of dollars profit, why do they have to do this? Shear greediness?
