Since 2005, TT Games has been responsible for taking popular franchises like Batman, The Avengers, and Star Wars and turning them into popular LEGO adventure games that have been released across many platforms. 2022’s LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was plagued by delays and crunch culture at the development studios. While the end result took TT Game’s established format to new heights, there hasn’t been any indication of what’s to come from the studio. One player, however, hasn’t been focused on the future of the games, choosing to look at Nintendo’s last home console for inspiration.
Over the course of the Wii U’s life span from 2012-2017, there were 10 LEGO games released for the console and one fan has not only managed to collect every LEGO game but has shown off a vast assortment showcasing each variant. A Reddit user by the name of craig_nintendo posted their entire Wii U LEGO collection which spans three shelving units and is made up of every standard edition of each title, games that included a special minifigure, as well as every regional variation that was released around the world.
The Complete LEGO Wii U Master Collection - worldwide & all variations in existence. Worth applying for the world record?
The impressive collection aims to be as complete as possible with craig_nintendo also adding any LEGO toy that included a Chase McCain minifigure from the Wii U exclusive LEGO City Undercover, along with each Wii U console edition that shipped with a game. The OP explained in a later post that the collection was hunted down using a combination of auction sites like eBay and by scouring local marketplaces where online auctions aren’t as readily available.

It's safe to say that craig_nintendo’s Wii U collection is as unique as they come and shows the dedication video game fans have when it comes to collecting a particular franchise. With LEGO now diversifying its video game license to different developers like 2K, it remains to be seen if other gamers will take on the challenge of collecting LEGO games for the current generation of consoles.
