No Wii U price cut any time soon.

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata made it abundantly clear that the Wii U will not be getting a price cut anytime soon. Iwata said Nintendo's "resolute stance" on selling the Wii U at a loss means a markdown is out of the question.

"With Wii U, we have taken a rather resolute stance in pricing it below its manufacturing cost, so we are not planning to perform a markdown," Iwata said. "I would like to make this point absolutely clear. We are putting our lessons from Nintendo 3DS to good use, as I have already publicly stated.

"However, given that it has now become clear that we have not yet fully communicated the value of our product, we will try to do so before the software lineup is enhanced and at the same time work to enrich the software lineup which could make consumers understand the appeal of Wii U."

DemonSurfer It,s a great console,got mine on release day and definately worth the money.Most people who don't want one have never played it or think it's the same as the Wii.Even if your one of those "non" gamers who think it's only good if the graphics are good,they are better than 360 and PS3 .

Yes it is,for instance Black Ops 2 is better gameplay eg. you don't need split screen for 2 players as you get a screen each,change classes and call in kill streaks etc without having the exit the "play" screen" and obviously you have more control options in multi platform games like Pro Controller,Wiimote and Nunchuck,Tablet Controller,classic controller / pro also look at the really cool features added to Need for Speed on Wii U so how on earth is that not "better".Maybe do some research 1st? as for AR15 you seem to go into every Nintendo thread just to post negative comments no matter what... mmm BTW PS3 didn't exactly sell well and they kept the price high and in the end sold more than 360.
