Activision has recently announced the Call of Duty Championship. Set to take place April 5-7 in Hollywood, the tournament will put 32 teams against eachother for a chance at the $1 million prize.

Teams will be drawn from several areas, including Xbox Live, Major League Gaming and the Electronic Sports League. Those interested in competing for a spot on Xbox Live may do so by registering for Call of Duty Elite. Starting today, teams of four can then compete on Xbox Live in the February season of Black Ops 2 League Play.

I think this is just another reason for people to buy Black Ops 2. If theres a chance of winning 100K+ theres alot of people that would buy it. Well done Treyarch, your ripping people off once again.

Kixa dam lot of money that money should be used for the servers

Why should it be used on the servers? Competitive is what makes Call of Duty what it is, A big part of it all his Competitive and people should see that + Advertisements on the streams etc means companies like Twitch.Tv make money etc..

There is no reason to why it should be spent on servers.
If anything it should be to sort out the hit detection and to make the match finding better instead of giving people with really bad internets the host but it's not & also it's fun watching the streams so why not spend the money on it?

There is nothing wrong with the servers.
You are just a kid that doesnt know anything about servers and stuff.
You hear people say that the servers are ****.
But the servers are actually good.
The problem is the new routers/modem
They have bigger RAM and after a while of online gaming.
The RAM will be full.
This is called buffer bloat.
You can fix this but i dont feel like explaining.
Google it and you will find a solution for your problem.
And the problem is not the servers but our routers

I hope it will be out of this world by now after reading this!

Thats were your wrong.
I use BT fiber optic broadband and that = to 148 meg.
And yet i get disconnected from the server almost 10 times a day.
I dont have this trouble from other games like battlefield.(EA)
Black Ops 2 server is ridiculous. I got disconnected from the server 3 times yesterday and i got a 6 hour probation from the server hahaha its without a doubt the worst server ever.
